The game is free. Some extra sets of forfeit ideas cost a few pounds. This page is what you agree to by playing, and what you are owed if something you paid for does not work.
Who you are dealing with
DON'T MOVE is operated by Peerware Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Contact: admin@peerware.site. We answer support and refund requests at that address.
Playing safely — read this one
The game hands a room a forfeit, and the room decides what to do about it. Some of them are physical.
- Every forfeit is a suggestion, not an instruction. Skip anything that is not safe, not sensible, or not funny for the person it lands on.
- Play in a clear space. Do not play while driving, cycling, near stairs, near water, near a road, or anywhere a stumble matters.
- Do not play it in a way that pressures, humiliates or endangers anybody, and stop if somebody wants to stop.
- You are responsible for what you and your group actually choose to do. We cannot supervise a room we are not in.
If you have a condition affected by sudden noises, flashing screens or vibration, note that the game uses all three. The sound can be muted from the round screen, and the whole thing respects your device's reduce-motion setting.
Using the game
Play it, share the link, film it, post it. What you may not do is resell it, pass it off as yours, or use it to harass anybody. We can withdraw access from anyone doing that.
The game is provided as it is. It runs peer-to-peer in a browser using a free public signalling service, so connections can drop and rooms can fail for reasons outside our control. We do not promise it will always be available.
Buying a stake pack
Packs are one-off purchases, priced in pounds and shown inclusive of any tax due. Payment is taken by Stripe. Once payment completes you are sent back to the game and the pack loads onto the device you opened the link with.
Be clear about what a pack is: it is a set of extra forfeit ideas, kept in that browser's storage. It is not an account. Clearing your site data or switching to a different phone means opening your unlock link again — so keep the link in your receipt email. If you lose it, write to us and we will send it back.
Your right to cancel, and why it ends immediately
For digital content bought online you would normally have 14 days to change your mind. Because a pack is delivered to you the instant you pay, you are asked to agree at checkout that supply begins immediately — and once it has been delivered, the 14-day right to cancel no longer applies. That is how the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 work for digital content, and we would rather say it plainly here than bury it.
None of that affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: a pack has to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair, a replacement or your money back.
Refunds
If a pack does not load, loads the wrong content, or is not what the page said it was, email admin@peerware.site with the email you paid with and we will refund you in full. We would rather return a few pounds than argue about them.
We will not usually refund a pack that works and that you simply did not enjoy — but ask anyway, and tell us what was wrong with it. That is useful to us.
The 18+ pack
One pack is written for adults. It is marked before you buy it, and the game asks you to confirm everyone playing is 18 or over before it deals anything from it. Do not buy it for a room that includes minors.
What we are not liable for
We are liable for things the law does not let us exclude, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and fraud. Beyond that, we are not liable for anything anybody chooses to do as a forfeit, for indirect or consequential losses, or — where a purchase is involved — for more than the amount you actually paid.
Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also use your local courts.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes too. Whatever was on this page when you bought something is what applies to that purchase.
